charhiper.pngSemargl, god of fire and Svarog's loyal helper, vowed to protect the Humans and do his best to help them. A maiden was born among the people, her hair was the color of Sun, sinking into the Great Ocean, and her eyes were the color of deep sea. People called her Siana.  Consumed by desire, Semargl begged Svarog to let him live out one life among people. That's how master blacksmith Yaromir came into the world, and won the beautiful maiden's heart. When the time came for Siana to die, Yaromir told people to let him burn with her on the pyre. Their children gathered around them, and their grief was endless - but when fire consumed Yaromir's mortal body, Humans saw Semargl's fiery face.  The god told many secrets to his children, and gave them a gift of long youth. Semargl's descendants withdrew from Human kind and called themselves Hyperboreans. They copied habits of the Bear - one of the more powerful inhabitants of the Primordial Woods
